So Black, The Trees
by David Lubin
So black, the trees
stretched forth their winter arms
to skies that kissed them blue.
Upon their stretching
where the sun shown through
and tender warmed the night to day
and tender warmed the winter fiercely into May.
Naughtily, I Nestled
by David Lubin
Naughtily, I nestled
in amongst the stones
that lay beneath the sun
whose yellow waves caught up the sky
and threw her blue beneath the tide
whose waters rose and waved good-bye.
