Symphony of Love Songs
Ah, the sweet innocence of two lovers.
Their uncanny ability to stay present,
as though each second might be their last,
yet trusting that whatever was to be
would not limit their giving.
Nothing could endanger the bond of
two hearts, joined by some mysterious energy
creating space for deeper unfoldment.
Nightime brought their forced separation
until the warmth of the sun began a new day
filled with aniticipation of sweet tenderness.
Every fleeting moment trying to be savored
for eternity, knowing that time had a way of
taking its share of all things, in spite of a
futile effort to stop what must be.
The rhythmic duo played a symmphony of lovesongs
that made birds sing lullabies,
awakening a long lost feeling
of being united with God's tender LOVE.
